BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater Police released the blotter for incidents dating back to May.
On May 11 at about 1:15 p.m.: Shaniqua Green, 42, of Summit, was stopped for shoplifting at Nordstrom Rack, located at 362 Chimney Rock Road. Green stole store merchandise valued at $599.97. A complaint summons was completed and Green was released with a pending court appearance.
On June 14 at 12:19 a.m.: Eric Shaffer, 48, of East Stroudsburg, PA was arrested for DWI after being involved in a single-vehicle crash on Route 202/206 at the intersection of Brown Road. Shaffer was issued the following summonses: DWI, refusal to submit to breath tests, failure to maintain lane, reckless driving and careless driving. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On June 16: A victim reported a vehicle had been stolen from their driveway on Loft Drive. The victim reported the 2020 Range Rover was parked in the driveway and the keys to the vehicle had been left in a second vehicle which was also parked in the driveway but left unlocked.
On June 26 at about 3:35 p.m.: Robert Peterman, 43, from Keansburg, was stopped for shoplifting and hindering apprehension at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Peterman stole store merchandise valued at $718.09 and then provided a false name to law enforcement. A complaint summons was completed and Peterman was released with a pending court appearance.
On June 28: A victim reported that their vehicle had been burglarized while parked in the lot of the Chimney Rock Park. The victim had parked their vehicle and when they returned about one hour later, they found a window had been broken. Someone removed the victim’s purse from the vehicle.
On June 28 at about 7:18 p.m.: Marie Quinga, 29, and Ana Bonilla, 53, both from Piscataway, were stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Quinga and Bonilla stole store merchandise valued at $412. Complaint summonses were completed and they were both released with a pending court appearance.
On June 29: A resident of Amsterdam Road reported that someone stole a rainbow flag which had been hanging on a flag pole in front of their residence.
On July 5 at 11:38 p.m.: Jorge Martinez-Garcia, 57, of Bud Lake, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on Route 202/206. Jorge Martinez-Garcia was issued the following summonses: DWI, unlicensed driver, failure to maintain lane, reckless driving and wrong way on a one-way street. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On July 10 at about 11:48 a.m.: William O’Connor, 56, from Keansburg, was stopped for shoplifting at Home Depot, located at 400 Promenade Boulevard. O’Connor stole store merchandise valued at $543.67. A complaint summons was completed and O’Connor was released with a pending court appearance.
On July 11: An employee of Bloomingdale’s, located at 410 Commons Way, reported their vehicle had been burglarized. The victim advised that their vehicle had been parked in the parking lot and was locked. The actor (s) smashed a window and removed the victim’s purse from the interior.
On July 12: A resident of Somerset Avenue reported their vehicle had been burglarized. The victim advised that their vehicle had been parked in their driveway and was unlocked. The actor entered the vehicle and removed a duffel bag that contained nothing of value.
On July 15: A victim reported that their Caterpillar Skid Steer was stolen form a parking lot on Route 22. The victim advised that they still had the key for the machine in their possession.
On July 15: A victim reported their vehicle had been stolen from a parking lot on Finderne Avenue. The victim reported their 2019 Honda Accord was parked in the lot in front of their residence. The vehicle had been locked and the victim had both sets of keys.
On July 19 at about 3:26 p.m.: John Vidra, 49, from Brigantine, PA was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Vidra stole store merchandise valued at $497.67. A complaint summons was completed and Vidra was released with a pending court appearance.
On July 20 at 2:50 p.m: Marilee Boughner, 68, of Somerville, was arrested for DWI after being involved in a motor vehicle crash on East Main Street. Boughner was issued the following summonses: DWI, failure to maintain lane, open container in the vehicle, reckless driving and careless driving. She was released with a pending court appearance.
On Aug. 1: A victim on Milltown Road reported the theft of the catalytic converter from their vehicle. The vehicle was parked in the parking lot directly in front of the business.
On Aug. 1: A victim reported their Honda dirt bike and Kawasaki ATV had been stolen from the backyard of their residence on Milltown Road. The victim advised the keys had been left in both vehicles.
On Aug. 2 at about 11:45 a.m.: Kenneth Schnorrbusch, 55, from Sayreville, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Schnorrbusch stole store merchandise valued at $597.71. A complaint summons was completed and Schnorrbusch was released with a pending court appearance.
On Aug. 7 at 4:30 a.m.: Mitch Nyamwange, 37, of Edison, was arrested for DWI after he was found traveling west in the eastbound lanes of Route 22. Nyamwange was issued the following summonses: DWI, open container in a vehicle, reckless driving and wrong way on a one-way street. He was released with a pending court appearance.
On Aug. 16 at about 4:35 p.m.: Joseph Delnegro, 51, from Keansburg, was stopped for shoplifting at Home Depot, located at 400 Promenade Boulevard. Delnegro stole store merchandise valued at $284.98. A complaint summons was completed and Delnegro was released with a pending court appearance.
On Aug. 16 at about 4:58 p.m.: Sebastin Moon, 31, from Freehold, was stopped for shoplifting at Home Depot, located at 400 Promenade Boulevard. Moon stole store merchandise valued at $682.97. A complaint summons was completed and Moon was released with a pending court appearance.
On Aug. 19: A resident on Loft Drive reported an attempted burglary to their vehicle. The resident was alert by their Ring Camera of motion in their driveway. Upon reviewing the camera they observed someone try to open the door of their vehicle. The vehicle was locked and the subject was unable to gain entry.
