ARLINGTON, VA — Gates 10-14 at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport were temporarily closed Monday morning as security personnel investigated an unattended piece of baggage left at one of the security checkpoints.
Transportation Security Administration personnel determined the bag contained a CPAP machine, which is used to help people with obstructive sleep apnea breathe easier when they sleep.
The CPAP machine was removed and the gates reopened, according to a TSA spokeswoman.
